In this paper we investigate possible relationships between the con- cepts of "Reading", "Literature" and "Justice", as the starting point for the project called "Readers for Justice". This project promotes silent and loud voice reading practices at the University, and from the University to the community, involving the educational value of reading in the most varied instances of life, including all levels of Education. Further- more, it is built on the idea that Literature can act as a bridge between reality and the most diverse disciplines.En este trabajo se investigan posibles interrelaciones entre los con- ceptos de "Lectura", "Literatura" y "Justicia", como fundamento inicial para el Proyecto denominado "Lectores para la Justicia", que propicia la extensión y afirmación de prácticas de lectura silenciosa y en voz alta en la Universidad, y desde la Universidad a la comunidad; confiando en el valor pedagógico de la lectura en las más variadas instancias de la vida -incluyendo todas las etapas educativas-, y considerando que la literatura bien puede actuar como puente entre la realidad y las más diversas disciplinas.
