Description	The merit of this paper seeks to address a mechanism for the resolution of disputes between investors and the State, such as mediation. For this purpose, we will try to clarify -within the extension allowed by this article- certain issues that may be useful, such as what to understand by mediation, its use in investment disputes, and its operation under the current ICSID rules.	en-US
Description	El mérito de este trabajo busca abordar un mecanismo de resolución de disputas entre inversionistas y Estado como lo es la mediación. Para dicha finalidad, intentaremos aclarar -dentro de la extensión que nos permite el presente artículociertos temas que pueden ser de utilidad, como que entender por mediación, su uso en materia de disputa de inversiones, y su funcionamiento bajo las actuales reglas del CIADI.	es-ES
