Taking as a starting point Alf Ross’ constitutional puzzle, Miriam Henríquez and George Lambeth defend the validity of the modification of the amending power established in chapter XV of the Chilean Constitution. This paper critizes Henríquez’s and Lambeth’s elaboration, introduces an alternative approach to the puzzle and analyzes, in the light of such interpretation, certain aspects of the chilean constitutional debate.Tomando como punto de partida el puzle constitucional de Alf Ross, Miriam Henríquez y George Lambeth defienden la validez de la modificación de la potestad de reforma establecida en el capítulo XV de la Constitución chilena. En el presente trabajo se critica la elaboración de Henríquez y Lambeth, se introduce una aproximación alternativa al puzle y se analizan ciertos aspectos del debate constitucional a la luz de tal interpretación.
