The article explores if exists some relation between the family structure and the private property juridical form in the Arabic peoples. There is defined the concept of "Arabic peoples" and their principal and general characteristics; and the family structure and the marriage as institution that gives beginning to the family is analyzed. Regarding to the juridical system of the private property, their evolution in the time is emphasized and a strong influence of the Islam in its current configuration is discovered. One concludes that it is not possible to establish a relation between the family struc ture and the change from a collective to an individual property. Though in the epoch before Islam exists a correlation between the tribal family structure and the collective property, in the emergence of the individual property a social or political transformation does not influence likes the adoption of the Islam, which makes the individual appear personally in the juridical life.El artículo explora si existe alguna relación entre la estructura familiar y la forma jurídica de la propiedad privada de los pueblos árabes. Se define el concepto de "pueblo árabe" y sus características principales y generales; y se analiza la estructura familiar y el matrimonio como institución que da inicio a la familia. En cuanto al sistema jurídico de la propiedad privada, se enfatiza su evolución en el tiempo y se descubre una fuerte influencia del Islam en su configuración actual. Se concluye que no es posible establecer una relación entre la estructura familiar y el cambio de una propiedad colectiva a una propiedad individual. Si bien en la época preislámica existe una correlación entre la estructura familiar tribal y la propiedad colectiva, en el surgimiento de la propiedad individual no influye de manera significativa una transformación social o política, como sí la adopción del Islam, que hace al individuo figurar personalmente en la vida jurídica.
